The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 675

"Because we still have a few things to take care of," Leilani said gently. "We'll announce it when the time is right."

Yvonne nodded, though she didn't fully understand. She wasn't one to pry, so if Leilani didn't want to elaborate, she wouldn't push.

"Okay..." she said obediently.

Then, as if struck by a thought, she clenched her fist. "But don't you worry, Leilani! If you're not going public, my lips are sealed!"

Leilani laughed at her dramatic gesture and patted her head. "It's not that serious. We're just not announcing it on public platforms. I have no intention of hiding it from friends like you. Now, you've asked all your questions. Go to sleep."

The afternoon sun was warm and pleasant.

Judie walked into the Langley family garden, arm-in-arm with her mother, and saw Letty sitting in the gazebo brewing coffee.

"Aunt Letty!" Judie ran over and gave Letty an affectionate hug. "We've come to mooch some coffee off you!"

Letty smiled, patting her hand. "You've come at the perfect time."

Libby sat down on the stone bench and accepted a cup. "You're looking wonderful today, Letty. Did something good happen?"
