The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 1285

At the exclusive private elementary school, the final bell had just rung, and children poured out of the classrooms like a flock of cheerful birds.

Only Raffy moved slowly, his heavy backpack weighing him down, his head bowed so low it nearly disappeared into his collar.

Ever since he had returned to the Davidson family and been sent back to this school by Danielle, he had become known as "the criminal's son."

The fawning friends who once surrounded him had vanished, replaced by pointing fingers, hushed whispers, and open ostracism.

He clutched his backpack straps, desperate to escape this place, but as he rounded the corner behind the main building, a group of taller boys blocked his path.

The leader was the class bully, Bacon Quintin, who acted like he owned the place since his father was on the school board.

He had never liked Raffy, but had been too afraid to do anything while Harold was still powerful.

Now, his chance had finally come.

With his hands on his hips, he looked down at Raffy, a mocking sneer on his face.

"Well, well, if it isn't the Chapman family's little traitor. What's the matter? Your dad's in prison, and you still have the nerve to show your face at school?"

The other boys snickered, their jeers like needles in Raffy's ears.

His face flushed bright red, and his knuckles turned white as he gripped his backpack, but he only shrank back, mumbling, "He's not my father..."

"Not your what?" Bacon shoved him hard.

Raffy stumbled backward and fell heavily to the ground.

His backpack tumbled to the side, spilling books and papers everywhere.

Not satisfied, Bacon stepped forward, raising his foot to stomp on the scattered pages.

"Your dad is a traitor, and you're just like him! You're an unwanted bastard that nobody wants!"

"Don't you dare bully him!" A clear, angry shout cut through the noise.

Niki, looking like a hissing kitten, shot out from around the corner.
