Everyone outside the door fell silent, especially Alan. He felt so awkward he could not say a word.
Empress Chang Er refused to let them in. Who would dare to go against her wish?
Zhang Jue took a deep breath and stepped forward. He spoke to Empress Chang Er through the door, "Empress, I’m Zhang Jue. I came with Darryl and we have some important things to discuss with you."
Zhang Jue looked confident. He thought Chang Er would give them the time of day because he used to be the North Moana’s Continent’s Military Advisor and more importantly, he brought a fake Darryl with him. He knew Chang Er and Darryl were close.
However, Chang Er replied flatly without hesitation, "I will not see you!"
She glanced at Darryl as she spoke, feeling conflicted. ‘So it’s true that Zhang Jue got someone to impersonate Darryl?’
Darryl was also a little annoyed as he spoke to Chang Er in a low tone, "See? Zhang Jue is bold. He brought a fake Darryl to fool you!"
Then, he pondered before continuing, "Can you find a way to keep Zhang Jue here? I will find a way out later to investigate what they’re doing here!"
While talking, Darryl's gaze traveled down Chang Er’s perfectly curvaceous body. Any man would find it hard to resist such a gorgeous look, especially when he was reminded of what they were doing earlier. The flame in Darryl was about to burn wild again.
"How dare you look at me?" Darryl's gaze made Chang Er very uncomfortable but she dared not rebuke him loudly in fear of attracting attention from the people out there.
The next second, Chang Er calmed down and said to Zhang Jue, "I’m a little tired now and I don't want to see any guests. If you have important things to discuss, Zhang Jue, you should stay in the Holy Sect for the night. Let's meet and talk tomorrow!"
The truth was that Chang Er did not want to help Darryl as he just tainted her,but she could not stand the bold Zhang Jue bringing a fake Darryl to scheme against her.
Zhang Jue's eyes glowed strangely and he smiled bitterly. "Okay!"
