Yennie was embarrassed and enraged as she felt Darryl's grin and look, and she could not help but rebuke him.

Darryl smiled and turned his head away, not looking at her.

Darryl had wanted to tease her even more. Yennie was the Nine Saint Oracle, and he had already taken advantage of her by asking her to call him good brother. It was wrong for him to keep making fun of her.
