Half an hour later, Darryl followed the unicorn carriage to a private mansion by the beach. The mansion was huge and the interior looked beautiful. It was Cunning’s private mansion.

The mansion was holding a private banquet and there were many guards at the door. The guests had to present their invites in order to enter and the place was heavily guarded.

Darryl wanted to break in, but he held himself back. At the wedding, Grady got publicly beaten up and caused a scene. He must not act recklessly anymore. As he thought about it, Darryl noticed a weak spot in the security of the mansion’s back garden. He walked over quietly and slipped in without raising attention.

Darryl took a deep breath when he arrived at the mansion and saw the situation in the front hall. There were many guests in the hall and all of them were reputable people in Pearl City. Apart from that, there were many representatives from families from other cities. The host, Cunning, had yet to arrive. The guests had gathered and were chatting as well as laughing.

Many servants walked through the hall carrying wine and fruit platters. The whole hall had a happy and lively atmosphere.
