Suddenly, a soldier scrambled into the hall. His face was pale as he cried out to Teddy, “I’ve got bad news! A man was broken through the city gate’s defense, claiming he’s here to save the woman!”
‘What?’ Teddy slammed his hand on the table and stood up abruptly as he yelled at the soldier, “What is the meaning of this? That woman has already been rescued; why is there another person coming to rescue her?!”
Teddy was in a terrible mood.
Bam!
Suddenly, the door to the Mayor’s mansion was kicked open with a loud bang. Then, someone with a domineering aura strode into the hall.
It was Darryl. He looked determined and his eyes wide with anxiety.
Half a day ago, Darryl was shocked and angry to learn from Albert that Yuri had impersonated the Goddess of Light and was subdued by the 12 paladins. He later learned that Yuri was going to be executed in Storm City. He left straight for the city without a second thought.
Although Yuri was a fairy, she was kind-hearted and had deep feelings for Darryl. He would never allow Yuri to be in the predicament after he had spent such a long time searching for her.
Before he arrived at Storm City, Darryl decided he would rescue Yuri by any means and no matter how many soldiers there were in the city!
‘F*ck! This guy found his way in here.’ Teddy’s eyes flashed in anger as he studied Darryl.
At the same time, soldiers emerged from every direction with their eyes fixed on Darryl. ‘This guy’s got guts! How dare he break into Storm City?’
Finally, Teddy snapped back to his senses.
