Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3434

“I’m afraid this is a little improper,” said Darryl.

“Oh, really?” Madame Pandora smiled, making her seductive face lit up. She was so breathtakingly beautiful.

“You don’t find me beautiful?” she asked while holding onto Darryl with one hand and using the other hand to sprinkle some pink powder in the air. Her movement was subtle, but still, it did not escape Darryl’s notice.

He furrowed his brows and knew his suspicions had been confirmed — Madame Pandora did have an ulterior motive for asking him to come to the manor. He decided not to expose her and play it by ear. He breathed in the powder floating in the air and immediately felt dizzy. However, he was immune to all kinds of poison, so the powder did not affect him beyond the initial dizziness. Still, he played along in front of Madame Pandora.

“I’m a little dizzy. I must have drunk too much,” said Darryl, clutching his head and observing Madame Pandora’s reaction at the same time.

Madame Pandora laughed her tinkly laugh, pulled his head to rest on her legs, and stroked his cheeks gently. “You should rest here since you’re tired.”

Relief flooded her body as she said that. Finally, she had him under her control.

Darryl felt his bones turn to jelly by her gentle voice. He had to keep on pretending the powder had worked on him, so he closed his eyes. He really wanted to know what Madame Pandora was scheming.

Meanwhile, a few miles away from Pearl City lay a mountain range famous for its breathtaking scenery in the Crescent Moon Principality. Two beautiful figures were sitting in a cross-legged position beside the pond in the water. One of them was wearing a red dress and the other a light blue dress. The two fairy-like girls were none other than Bonnie and Yuri.

They had been recuperating there ever since Bonnie rescued Yuri five days ago.

“Bonnie, you said you’re going to take me to see Darryl. Where is he exactly?” asked Yuri after her meditation.
