"Oh, right!"
Just when Darryl was pondering, the Pegasus Paladin suddenly thought of something. "Earlier, Bonnie gave us an order to look for someone by the name of Darryl—"
Before he could finish talking, Darryl smiled. "The Darryl that she is looking for is me!"
"Saint Lord!"
The Pegasus Paladin was taken aback when he heard it. Then, he eagerly said, "Now that the woman has messed up the Temple of Light, only you can do something about it."
Darryl took a deep breath and smiled bitterly. "Pegasus Paladin, please don't put your hopes on me. If I were to fight Bonnie one on one, I wouldn't have any chance of winning."
Darryl was not belittling himself. Back in the Nine Mainland, Bonnie had successfully swallowed the power of King of the Dead from Donoghue's body. When Darryl saw Bonnie again in Pearl City sometime earlier, she was about to integrate the power into her body completely. Half a month had passed since their last meeting; Darryl assumed that Bonnie must have succeeded in integrating the power.
Otherwise, Bonnie would not be able to control the Temple of Light so smoothly.
The Pegasus Paladin became anxious after he saw Darryl's serious look when he spoke about the situation. "In that case, is the Temple of Light completely hopeless now?"
Even the Saint Lord was not sure if he could defeat Bonnie. What more could the others do?
Darryl smiled and comforted the Pegasus Paladin. "Don't panic. The most important thing now is to help you and the other paladins expel the poison in your body. Otherwise, it will be difficult to reverse the situation on my own."
Then, Darryl began to find out the details of the poison that was troubling the Pegasus Paladin.
The Pegasus Paladin did not keep anything from Darryl; he explained everything in great detail. Finally, he asked nervously, "Saint Lord, can you help us get rid of the poison in our bodies?"
"Of course!" Darryl smiled confidently.
