The Pegasus Paladin was impressed. In merely a few minutes, the Saint Lord was able to produce the antidote right before his eyes. That was simply unheard of.
Darryl smiled at the sight of the Pegasus Paladin's perplexed look.
The next second, Darryl took out the remaining antidote and handed it to the Pegasus Paladin. "Those are the remaining antidotes. Give it to Golden Lion and the rest when you go back. You must be careful not to let Bonnie find out. After you expel the poison, don't fight with Bonnie. Remember what I said!"
"I'll keep in touch when I accompany the Queen to Pearl City for the ceremony," Darryl said solemnly.
Darryl was anxious after he learned that Bonnie had gained control over the Temple of Light, but he knew that a head-on confrontation with Bonnie would only worsen the situation. The safest way was to use his royal guard identity and go with the Queen to attend the Holy Light Ceremony. Since his identity was hidden, perhaps things would be easier then.
After spending some time with the Pegasus Paladin, Darryl returned to his room.
"Commander!"
As soon as he entered the room, he heard a guard speak politely from the outside. "The Queen has summoned you."
Darryl acknowledged the order and immediately walked toward the Queen's bedchamber, where she was resting. Darryl was sure that the Queen was looking for him to discuss the Holy Light Ceremony.
When Darryl arrived at the Queen's room, he took a deep breath.
The Queen was wearing a white dress, and she was sitting there quietly. Her charming curves and beautiful face were captivating; anyone would be attracted.
However, Darryl was not in the mood to appreciate the Queen's beauty.
"Darren!"
The Queen smiled when she saw Darryl. "You are here!"
Darryl replied respectfully, "Your Majesty has summoned me; what can I do for you?"
