Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3477

Soon, Darryl arrived at the Queen's bed chamber. The Queen was dressed in a gorgeous robe that accentuated her beauty and sexiness; she exuded nobility and majesty. The Queen seemed to be in a good mood as she looked very attractive with a big smile on her face.

However, Darryl felt nervous. He wondered if Angeline had told the Queen about what had happened between them the day before.

The Queen smiled when Darryl walked into her room and looked at him approvingly, “Darren, I heard things went smoothly yesterday when you went to Marshall’s manor and confiscated all his belongings. Well done.”

“Thank you, Your Majesty. I’m trying my best to do a good job,” Darryl quickly responded.

He secretly sighed when he spoke. ‘It seems the Queen still has no idea what happened between Angeline and me.’

The Queen was extremely happy to hear that from Darryl as she nodded and said, “The Golden Lion Principality is proud to have someone loyal like you serving the principality. Darren, after the Holy Light Ceremony, I’ll give you a promotion.”

The Queen saw Darryl as her most prized helper.

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Darryl bowed to the Queen gratefully, but he was extremely calm and composed on the inside.

If things went right, Darryl might not return to the Golden Lion Principality after going to Pearl City and meeting Bonnie.

Naturally, Darryl would not tell the Queen what was on his mind.

Suddenly, the Queen had a thought and looked a little worried. “Oh right! You were working with the Day Rise Principality before and I heard you were knighted by the Duke of the Day Rise Principality. Now, you are a member of the Golden Lion Principality. This time when you head to Pearl City to attend the Holy Light Ceremony, you might inevitably encounter people from the Day Rise Principality..."

The Queen pondered momentarily. "In order to avoid trouble, why don’t you stay in the capital city?"

The Queen looked serious when she suggested that.
