Thea’s response stunned Donnie.
"Lolita is not feeling well and it’s inconvenient for her to meet any guests at the minute,” Donnie replied.
Donnie was very annoyed, but he dared not show it. Thea was a well-known female knight of Pearl City and she had just beaten Grady's gang up. Donnie knew that he could not cause trouble with Thea. However, the fact that Lolita was under house arrest must never be discovered. He just made up a lie casually.
“It’s inconvenient for her to meet guests?’ Thea thought.
“Stop lying to me. She’s under arrest, isn’t she?” Thea sneered.
Darryl’s indignant gaze locked on Donnie suddenly. ‘F*ck! This must be Lolita's second uncle. If something happens to Lolita, I won’t spare him from my wrath!’
Donnie shuddered under Darryl’s scrutiny. ‘Thea's subordinate has a terrifying gaze.’
He looked around as he quickly racked his brain for a way to send Thea away. While he was thinking, Donnie heard the manor’s door being forced open. Then, hundreds of the Temple of Light’s knights came pouring in.
The leader of the knights was dressed in golden armor, looking charismatic and majestic. It was Pegasus Paladin, one of the 12 paladins. Behind him was Grady.
Grady looked proud and intimidating.
‘The Temple of Light?’ Thea trembled and panicked when she saw her opponents.
