“Thea and Lolita are friends. We’re here to visit Lolita, so what's the problem?” Darryl said coldly to Grady.
"Friends? I think you guys must have an ulterior motive,” Grady sneered.
Then, he pointed at Darryl and tried to show off. “Hey kid, you’re dead meat! You’ve injured many of my guards.”
All of a sudden, Pegasus Paladin interrupted coldly, “Enough! Stop this nonsense, Grady.” He signaled with his hand. “Grab this man and woman.”
Pegasus Paladin wanted to find Darryl as soon as possible, so he was in no mood to deal with this matter.
With his command, more than a dozen Temple of Light knights immediately surrounded Thea and Darryl. Although they were ordinary knights, the family guards were nothing when compared to them. The knights were powerful and each of them was at least above a saint honor level.
Thea trembled at the sight of the powerful opponents and she panicked. While she was not afraid of Grady’s subordinates, she doubted she and Darryl would be able to deal with the Temple of Light’s knights.
Amidst the panic, Thea also felt regret. She knew she should have left with Darryl earlier, but it was too late. However, Darryl looked nonchalant.
Looking at the dozens of Temple of Light knights that were charging in his direction, Darryl cried out at Pegasus Paladin, "Pegasus Paladin! How effective is the Heavenly Restoration Pill?"
The Heavenly Restoration Pill was the extremely poisonous antidote Darryl made for the 12 paladins. Darryl knew he could not act rashly and revealed the fact that he knew Pegasus Paladin, under those circumstances, so he deliberately mentioned the Heavenly Restoration Pill to give Pegasus Paladin a clue.
‘What did he say?’ Both Thea and Grady looked confused.
None of them knew that the 12 paladins had been poisoned, so they had no idea what Darryl was talking about.
