'Wow, d*mn it!'
Darryl took a deep breath in shock when he entered the Jade Fairyland and saw its surrounding area.
'So, this is where Empress Heidi lives? It's so beautiful.'
Darryl was so emotional; he could not help asking Leah, "Your Excellency Leah, this place—"
Leah interrupted him before he could finish talking. "Shut up! This is where the Empress rests. You can't talk casually here. Besides, you're just here to send the precious fruits. Why are you asking so many questions?"
Leah's delicate face was full of contempt when she rebuked Darryl.
Darryl was only a servant that looked after the Spirited Fruit Garden, whose status was way beneath hers, so he was not qualified to talk to her.
Darryl was very embarrassed to be treated so indifferently by Leah. At the same time, he felt a little unhappy.
'Even though Leah is Empress Heidi's most favored personal servant, she is still a servant. How silly that she is putting on airs!' Darryl muttered in his heart. He did not make any conversation and merely followed Leah around.
Soon, Leah brought Darryl to the Compassionate Pagoda.
The Compassionate Pagoda was where Empress Heidi rested and slept. It was extremely luxurious and elegant.
Gasp!
The moment Darryl stepped into the Compassionate Pagoda and saw the scene before him, he could not help taking a deep breath of air; he was dumbfounded.
The smoke of burning incense rose in the Compassionate Pagoda. There were dozens of young women who stood neatly in line. Those exquisite-looking young women were in their twenties, and they wore organza gowns which made them look feminine and charming.
There was a glorious throne in the center of Compassionate Pagoda.
The throne studded with rare gems was enlivened with a colorful streamer of lights. The throne was simply invaluable.
