A few seconds later, the Nine Heaven Emperor stared at Grunt and asked, "Grunt, is what you are saying true?"

The Nine Heaven Emperor respected the Ghost Valley Sage and refused to believe that he would have anything to do with the lawless Darryl.

Grunt scratched his head; there was hesitation all over his face. It was just a guess, and he did not have any evidence. Suddenly, he began to panic. If he could not show any evidence, they would say he had lied to the Emperor.

"Your Majesty!" an official said just as Grunt was about to pull his hair out. "Yesterday, I saw the Immortal Venerable Balman scolding a female disciple of his. So, out of curiosity, I asked him what was going on. He tried to evade the question, but I managed to gather some information from other sources.

"They said that the Immortal Venerable Balman went to visit the Ghost Sage Valley and his female disciple had a run-in with the Ghost Sage Valley's attendant, so that was why he was punishing her.

"As you all know, the Ghost Sage Valley had only arrived in the Godly Region recently and has been living alone ever since. So, why would he have an attendant? That attendant might have been the lawless Darryl!"

As soon as he said the last sentence, the entire Imperial Sky Palace broke out in an uproar again.

"Your Majesty! It looks like I was right. Something is going on between Darryl and the Ghost Valley Sage!" Grunt said excitedly. He was relieved; they would not say that he was lying.

"Yes, Your Majesty!" The soldier quickly went to the Balman Sea.

After a while, Lorelle came to the main hall and courteously got down on her knees. "Lorelle from the Balman Sea respectfully greets Your Majesty."

Even though she was known to be mischievous, she knew that she had to be respectful toward the Nine Heaven Emperor. She had just gotten out of her punishment when she was summoned.
