Darryl smiled, and they went inside. After everyone took their seat, he began to tell them all that had happened to him. He omitted the part about his status as the Nine Heaven Sage and also about Archfiend Antigonus. He did not want them to be too shocked. It took everyone quite a while to come around Darryl had finished his story.
Chester was the first to snap out of his shock. "Darry, you're really lucky to be alive. I can't believe the Nine Heaven Emperor didn't punish you and even let you come back here."
Darryl smiled and said, "I have the Ghost Valley Sage to thank for that. If it weren't for him, I would still be stuck there."
He could not tell them about what really happened to the Ghost Valley Sage since he did not mention the part about him being the Nine Heaven Sage. Fortunately, Chester seemed to be satisfied with his answer. After all, the Ghost Valley Sage was the most outstanding person in the world, so it was not too far-fetched to say that the Nine Heaven Emperor let Darryl go for his sake.
"By the way, Darryl, you said that we should attend the celebration feast held by the Heavenly Alliance. How did you know about that?" Debra asked with a smile.
All eyes turned toward him, waiting for him to answer.
Darryl took a deep breath and said, "Have you all forgotten that my master, the Ghost Valley Sage, is the best in divination? He knew everything from the past to the present. So naturally, I also knew about all the things happening in the Nine Mainland too."
"If that's the case, you should know that Rogart won't go down so easily—" Dax said.
Darryl interrupted him with a smile. "Don't worry. I'm not even afraid of the Nine Heaven Emperor, so why should I worry about a mere envoy?"
"Well said! It's decided then; we'll all go together!" Chester said.
Darryl shook his head calmly and said, "No, I'll go alone."
