"Is Darryl right in the head?"
"Haha... He can't even watch over his own woman..."
As Darryl heard the discussions around him, his anger rose and he clenched his fist. "Shut the hell up!"
At that moment, Dax could not help but step forward as he pointed at Skylar and cursed, "Skylar, you thick-faced b*tch! Debra is Darryl’s woman and yet you've concocted plans and ploys to get her. When she finally followed you, it was in the name of saving me. How could you call yourself a man when you do such dishonorable things?!"
He felt guilty about Debra, so when Skylar used the crowd to mock Darryl, he was unable to stand it.
Hearing Dax curse at him, Skylar’s expression darkened. He glanced at Dax and looked him up and down. "I defeated you and you have the gall to call me a b*tch? Don’t forget, I was the one who saved you before."
His glare turned ice-cold and he wanted to kill Dax right then and there. He was only able to restrain himself when he remembered Rogart and Darryl’s power.
"God d*mmit, you..." Dax was filled with rage, but he struggled to find a retort and swallowed whatever he was about to say.
Skylar was right. Dax was no match for him. Plus, Skylar did save him. When Skylar saw that Dax had nothing to say, he huffed and turned away from him.
His gaze then fell on Darryl and he sneered, "Darryl, no matter what, you’re still the sect master of Elysium Gate. You are a man of importance. Don’t go around being unreasonable. If you can’t watch over your own woman, don’t question others. I’m getting second-hand embarrassment over here."
