Darryl had no time to react when Princess Dorothy suddenly jumped into his embrace and said happily, "Grunt, you silly man. Took you long enough to confess your feelings for me. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this day to come."
Princess Dorothy had a straightforward personality, and she had feelings for Grunt, so she did not hold back after reading the letter. The softness of her body enthralled Darryl. He thought that Princess Dorothy would be mad after reading the letter, and so, he was surprised to see her return the sentiment.
However, he was not the real Grunt, so what should he do?
"Let us go to my room!" Princess Dorothy said, pulling on Darryl's hand as she happily walked in the direction of her room. Dazed, Darryl did as she told him, and soon they arrived at the Princess' room.
"Grunt, I'm really happy today! Let's drink to that!" Princess Dorothy said with a smile after sitting down.
Darryl finally snapped out of his trance. He forced a smile and said, "How about we drink on another day? I have to go back to the Nine Mainland to do something very important."
He felt like crying. All of that was too much of a coincidence for him. He would not have worn the armor if he knew that would happen.
Princess Dorothy pouted and said unhappily, "Are the affairs in the Nine Mainland more important than me?"
She dared to behave like a spoiled brat because she thought it was the real Grunt before her.
Darryl scratched his head helplessly.
"Go and prepare some food and drinks. By the way, tell no one that Grunt is in my room. Understand?" Princess Dorothy said to her maids.
"Yes, Princess!" The two maids talked in unison and left to do her bidding.
