Skylar laughed and nodded. "Don't worry. I am a man of my word. You only have half a day left. Good luck!"
Without hesitation, Princess Dorothy nodded and said to General Grunt, "Don't worry, I'll get you out of there!"
Then, she turned around and disappeared into the night sky.
'Princess, you're a fool!' General Grunt was touched and anxious. He had never expected Princess Dorothy to have such deep affection for him that she would go against her principles to rescue him.
…
Meanwhile, in the main hall of Jade Fairyland in the Godly Region, the Nine Heaven Emperor was seated with worry written all over his face. It was supposed to be Darryl and Princess Dorothy's wedding day, but the Nine Heaven Emperor was not delighted about it. He had never liked Darryl. It was only for reputation's sake that he agreed to marry Princess Dorothy to Darryl. How would he be excited about the wedding?
Empress Heidi, seated next to him, could not hide the joy on her face. Unlike the Nine Heaven Emperor, she was excited and pleased about her daughter's wedding. "This is so great!"
She then noticed the Nine Heaven Emperor looking unhappy and comforted him, "Your Majesty, you should be happy for our daughter instead of feeling frustrated."
After that, a maid scurried into the room, looking flustered. "Oh no. Oh no…"
The maid was panting and sweating a lot.
The Nine Heaven Emperor's mood worsened. "Why are you panicking? What's wrong?"
The maid almost burst into tears and said with a trembling voice as she got onto her knees, "Your Majesty, when I served food to the Princess, I discovered her room was empty and no one knows where she went."
The maid broke into a sweat and added, "Then, I went to the Jade Dragon Prince Consort's room and found that he was not in there either."
Both the Nine Heaven Emperor and Empress Heidi's faces changed. It was supposed to be their wedding day the next day. Why would they have gone missing?
