In a private room in the tavern, Princess Dorothy shrieked and grinned at General Grunt. "Sir, please give us some good wine! Today's the day you're saved from danger. Let's celebrate!"
Why would she not be delighted when she finally reunited with General Grunt?
However, General Grunt was rather indifferent. He hesitated as he asked, "Princess, you've successfully found a pure Yang body for Skylar. That means Archfiend Antigonus will be reborn soon and then the world will be doomed. Let's–"
Before he could finish his sentence, Princess Dorothy interrupted him and said, "No matter how bad it gets, my father will be in control of it. Moreover, Ancient Ancestor is powerful. If he was able to seal Archfiend Antigonus, I'm sure he can easily handle this situation."
Then, she grinned and put on a bright smile. "So, let's put all that aside. We'll live happily and freely with the one we love!"
"But…" General Grunt was frustrated and he was lost for words.
Princess Dorothy was rather annoyed. "What? Is it because of your position as the Commander? Do you not want to be with me?" She pouted and said flirtatiously.
General Grunt took a deep breath and was baffled. Finally, he snapped out of it and shook his head. "Why would I? Princess, you love me so much. It's truly a blessing that I'll only get once in my lifetime."
Princess Dorothy smiled. Then, the shop owner served them wine. "Come!"
At that moment, she was excited and poured two glasses of wine. "The first glass of wine goes to us starting a new life!"
Feeling how straightforward and gentle the Princess was, General Grunt became emotional as he clinked glasses with her.
