"What is it?" General Grunt grinned and asked.
Princess Dorothy pursed her lips and remained silent as she struggled internally.
General Grunt realized something was wrong with the atmosphere and became solemn. "Princess, what is it? Is it something to do with His Majesty?"
Princess Dorothy finally could not hold it back and broke into tears. "I… I'm not pure anymore…"
She briefly told General Grunt what happened with Darryl in her bed chamber. In the end, she was extremely embarrassed. Her eyes were full of shame and she would not look General Grunt in the eyes. In fact, she thought she could keep this from him, but she was too in love with him. She thought it was disrespectful to him if she hid the truth. She could not bring herself to say it when she was sober, so she was only able to talk about it when she became drunk.
At that moment, General Grunt was in shock and the smile on his face froze. 'What? Princess… Princess and Darryl…'
A few moments later, he thought he had heard wrongly and stared at Princess Dorothy. "Princess, you… You're drunk. Don't be ridiculous!"
As he spoke, he felt an uneasiness in his heart. He had hoped that all of what was said were not true, but looking at Princess Dorothy's face, he knew he was wrong.
General Grunt had admired Princess Dorothy for so many years and had always regarded her as a goddess with a pure heart. It was groundbreaking to suddenly hear that his goddess had lost her purity.
Princess Dorothy shook her head and said in a daze, "I'm not being ridiculous. That was what happened. Do you know that? I hate Darryl, but he's the Nine Heaven Sage and enthroned by my master, so I can't kill him! It was because of that incident that my parents decided to marry us in order to protect the royal family's reputation. But I like you and that's why I ran away regardless of the consequences…"
As she spoke, she was so drunk that she could not withstand it anymore.
