Skylar did not notice Veron.
At the opening of the dungeon, Skylar did not enter right away. Instead he looked around before crying out, "Disciples!"
Skylar could feel it clear as day that Master Magaera had broken the Sky Fiend Bonds, and was now restoring his fairy soul in the dungeon. Skylar would not stand a chance against him if he were to enter on his own.
After all, Master Magaera's powers in the heavenly realm were only second to those of the Nine Heaven Emperors.
Whoosh!
As his command rang through the air, Kendall came rushing over with a few hundred disciples from the Five Poison Sect. They surrounded the dungeon at once.
"Sect Master!"
After completely surrounding the dungeon, Kendall saluted Skylar. "Could it be that you have called upon us because Master Magaera…"
Skylar cut her off before she could finish her sentence. "I just felt it. Master Magaera has broken my Sky Fiend Bonds."
What?
Kendall froze upon hearing Skylar's words.
It was important to note that Skylar's Sky Fiend Bonds had been forged with the soul of the Sky Fiend. It was near impenetrable. On top of that, Master Magaera had been heavily wounded by the Archfiend Antigonus when he had been captured. How could he have broken the Sky Fiend Bonds?
Kendall pondered upon the question in her head, but dared not ask it.
"Kendal!"
Skylar's face was deadly serious. He ordered, "I've no need for your help here for now. Seal all the exits at the altar. I suspect someone helped Master Magaera in secret."
Skylar was no fool. By Master Magaer's condition, there was no way he could have broken out of his restraints so quickly. The only explanation was that someone had snuck into the dungeon.
"Yes, Sect Master!"
Kendall acknowledged him, rushing off to give out commands.
This was bad!
At the scene before her, Veron grew anxious from the tree she had been hiding behind.
