Both Skylar and Master Magaera jerked, flying backwards.
It was obvious that both attacks had not shown any mercy to the opposing side!
F*ck!
As Skylar found his footing, he could not help the shock he felt in his heart. How could this be? How had Master Magaera recovered his fairy soul so quickly after just breaking out of the Sky Fiend Bonds?
"You're fighting beyond your depth!"
Master Magaera could sense Skylar's shock, reacting with those condescending words.
Skylar's indignance quickly morphed into rage. He muttered a string of chants.
That's right. He was planning to call upon the ancient poisonous centipede.
"Roar!"
As soon as the chant left his mouth, an earth-shaking growl could be heard. It was followed by the appearance of a ginormous figure, soaring over from the banned grounds behind the mountain at top speed.
Its body was as big as that of a dragon. It had several pairs of wings on its back. Its eyes glistened with a terrifying, sinister glare.
It was the ancient poisonous centipede.
The temperature in the atmosphere dropped the second the creature appeared. It was the beginning of summer, yet the people felt like they had been plunged into the coldest of winters.
An ancient poisonous centipede?
In an instant, Master Magaera furrowed his brows. Gone was the arrogance from before, and in its place was a solemn expression.
Skylar had guessed right. Master Magaera's godly fairy soul energy had not fully recovered, but it was more than enough to take Skylar down. The appearance of the ancient poisonous centipede— now that would certainly turn things around.
It was important to note that the ancient poisonous centipede was one of the most deadly venomous creatures in all of history, capable of doing frightening things.
Gasp!
At the scene before her eyes, Veron could not help the shiver that ran through her slender body as she inhaled sharply from where she was hidden.
Skylar had called upon the ancient poisonous centipede. There was going to be trouble for Master Magaera.
It was undoubtedly true that the Hidden Hero Sect and the Godly Region had a long-standing rivalry that had spanned over a few thousand years, and Veron had no place worrying about Master Magaera this way. Yet right then, she did not want anything to happen to him.
After all, whatever rivalry there was with the Godly Region was nothing compared to the hatred she felt for Skylar murdering her own mother.
