Hearing Darryl's response, the Black Tortoise King was relieved and took a load off his mind. 'Great. Darryl did not pursue it further.'
At the same time, the White Tiger King and the Demon Warriors smiled. However, Oliver, who was eavesdropping outside the castle, was enraged. 'Darryl is too much! My dad apologized to you but you didn't speak humbly to him.'
As he recalled the incident with Leia, Oliver had the urge to scold Darryl, but he decided to hold back himself, considering his father was still in there.
In the stone castle, the atmosphere that was initially awkward had lightened up after the Black Tortoise King's apology.
The White Tiger King stood up and laughed. "Darryl, Your Excellency, you're generous and understanding. Here's a toast to you on behalf of the demons."
Then, he gulped his glass of wine. Darryl laughed and took a sip from his glass.
"Darryl, Your Excellency, we'll be migrating after the banquet. Would you want to follow us? the White Tiger King asked.
He was concerned as Darryl's broken leg and fairy soul had not fully recovered.
Darryl shook his head. "Don't worry about me. My injuries have yet to recover and I shouldn't go on a long journey. Plus, I need to return to see the Nine Heaven Emperor."
He looked calm on the outside, but deep down, he was rather emotional. 'D*mn it. How could General Grunt plot against me behind my back? I'm sure he hid this from the Nine Heaven Emperor. I must expose him!'
The White Tiger King was stunned and looked at the surrounding Demon Warriors. 'Darryl isn't joining the demons? His injuries have not recovered yet. Will he be alright?'
Then, the White Tiger King snapped out of it and stopped Darryl. "Your Excellency, it's too dangerous for you to stay here on your own. What if the fiend race warriors find you?"
