\Sensing the hostility coming from General Grunt, Oliver remained calm and put on a smile. "Commander, don't fret. I'm Oliver, the son of the Black Tortoise King. I don't mean any harm; I would like to join an alliance with you!"
Then, he motioned with his hand, and instantly, thousands of Black Tortoise Warriors surrounding him took a few steps back.
'Join an alliance?' General Grunt was stunned and then smiled. "So you're the son of the Black Tortoise King. I'm sorry for being disrespectful."
Then, he said to the Grand Weapons on standby, "You may retreat."
General Grunt was excited. He thought Oliver was sent by the White Tiger King. After all, he was the son of the Black Tortoise King and had an extraordinary status. Aside from the White Tiger King and Black Tortoise, who else among the demons would command him?
Upon General Grunt's order, the Grand Weapons and generals, who were ready for a fight, were relieved. They thought the Demon Warriors were here to cause trouble. They only found out that they were here to join an alliance after a long time.
"Mister Oliver, please come in." General Grunt smiled at Oliver, motioning for him to enter the tent.
Oliver entered the tent upon General Grunt's invitation. Then, General Grunt smiled at him. "I'm wondering what conditions does the White Tiger King have for us to join an alliance?"
General Grunt believed the reason why the White Tiger King refused to meet him was that he was pondering about that. He also thought that Oliver showing up with the Demon Warriors all of a sudden meant that the White Tiger King had decided on the conditions.
Little did General Grunt know that Oliver was not sent by the White Tiger King.
Oliver smiled at General Grunt. "Commander, I think you've misunderstood. The White Tiger King didn't send me. I'm also not representing the demons. It is I who wants to form an alliance with you."
