Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4126

"Father!"

Finally, Mona broke the silence. She pointed at Oliver and roared, "Tie him up, and make sure he gets sentenced."

Mona might be young and a little stubborn, but she still knew how to tell right from wrong. She disliked Darryl, but he was still the Demon tribe's hero.

Oliver's disgusting attempt at framing Honorable Master Darby was despicable and unforgivable.

Leia and Colori Phoenix nodded as she spoke, along with a few others.

Oliver's actions were, by Demon tribe rules, worthy of an official sentence.

Whew!

The White Tiger King took a deep breath. He did not say anything.

Oliver's face paled with fear. He fell to his knees and begged Leia. "It's all my fault, Leia. I behaved like an animal, and I acted without thinking. I should not have done that, but it's all because I love you too much. Please forgive me."

Right after that, Oliver spoke to the White Tiger King. "I've learned my lesson, Your Majesty. I beg you to forgive me on account of the great deed I just did for the Demon tribe. Please don't sentence me, please."

Oliver was close to tears. His voice even trembled.

Just as the White Tiger King was about to speak, the Black Tortoise King cut him off with a great roar.

"You are an animal!"

The Black Tortoise King roared furiously and landed a kick onto Oliver's body. With a loud cry, Oliver fell to the floor immediately.

The Black Tortoise King still seemed furious as he continued his assault on Oliver. He yelled, "I had such high hopes for you, only for you to do something so despicable. What would your late mother think? I'll be damned as your father if I don't beat you to death today."

The Black Tortoise King's expression was one of pure fury, but it was all an act for the White Tiger King.

The Black Tortoise King knew that if he did not play up his anger, the White Tiger King might have his men seize Oliver and have him publicly punished. Oliver had taken advantage of his daughter, after all.

The White Tiger King might spare Oliver if the Black Tortoise King played it up, though.
