Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4167

Though Oliver held deep grudges against Darryl, he was also aware that he was a righteous man instead of a small person who would switch sides. Therefore, Darryl would certainly have not surrendered to Morticia.

A few hours earlier, Oliver was waiting for a chance. However, the Black Tortoise King stayed in his tent and he could not find a time. Until the night came and Oliver saw the Black Tortoise King had left, he knew that it was his chance.

Oliver's plan was simple. He only needed a reason to lure Darryl away from his tent, so he would be able to enter it and search it.

Quickly, Oliver had looked through the tent once and he did not find any clues. He was frustrated but as he was about to leave, something caught his eyes. He saw that there was a piece of paper and a quill in the corner of the tent. Moreover, the ink on the quill had not dried up. Darryl had recently written a letter.

He became emotional and rushed over. He then buried the quill and the paper underneath the tent. Oliver was a cunning person. He knew that the quill and the paper were insufficient to convict Darryl but perhaps at a critical time, it could become evidence.

After burying the quill and the paper, Oliver left the tent.

Meanwhile, Darryl had gone to Morticia's tent and saw that the light was still turned on. Seeing that, he called out softly from outside, "Fiend Martyr?"

However, it was quiet and no one answered. Darryl frowned and walked in hesitantly.

'D*mn it?' As he entered the tent, he was stunned by what he saw.

Inside the tent, was a huge bathtub made of black stones and it was filled with hot water. At that time, there was a graceful figure soaking in the water. The person's fair skin contrasted hugely when next to the black bathtub. The charming body loomed out of the water and Darryl was baffled.

It was Morticia.
