It turned out that it was the Great East of The Nine Mainland. This lightened Darryl's mood and he could not help but appraise Olive. 'This lady is from Sword Sect, but she looks interesting.'
He put on a friendly smile, picked up a stick and wrote on the ground, don't worry. I'm not a monster. I'm human.
Seeing the words on the ground, Olive secretly sighed in relief. She was not as afraid and mustered her courage to step forward and ask, "How did you become like this? Did something go wrong?"
Darryl nodded.
Olive patted her chest. "I thought you were a monster. I was so scared."
Then, she noticed the wound on Darryl's back and exclaimed, "You're hurt really bad. Are you able to stand?"
Darryl inhaled deeply and nodded. He attempted to stand up but he ended up falling back to the ground as he had no strength. He was dismayed and forced a smile at Olive.
Olive sighed. "You poor thing. Why don't I bring you back to the Sword Sect? Our Sect Master is quite impressive and perhaps he can treat your injuries."
Then, she walked over and helped Darryl up. He held onto Olive's arm as he tried to get to his feet, but he accidentally dragged her veil to the ground. Instantly, he saw her face and was stunned.
Olive had delicate features and her skin was white as snow. She had a rare beauty that no one could resist after looking at her. However, there was a black birthmark on the right side of her face and it was rather shocking.
'What a pity. God is so unfair. She's such a kind girl, but she has such a flaw on her face,' Darryl thought to himself as he saw the birthmark.
At the same time, he finally understood why Olive wore a veil. After all, girls loved their appearance and would not be comfortable meeting anyone with such a huge birthmark on their face.
"You…" Olive panicked as her veil was taken off. When she saw Darryl's gaze, she was rather shy and angry.
She swung off her arm and stomped her feet. "You… Stop looking at me."
