On the other hand, Khloris was paralyzed in the room. Her face was drained of blood and her body of energy.
What had happened?
Olive snapped back to her senses as she called out to Khloris. "Master, are you okay? Who hurt you?" she asked as she was about to run into the room.
Khloris smiled at her weakly, having no energy to respond at all.
"Hold up!"
Jedidiah appeared out of nowhere and blocked the entrance as he spat, "Who allowed you into the Sword Tower?"
"I—"
Olive panicked when she sensed Jedidiah's intimidating aura. "I'm just here to check on my master. She's hurt."
Jedidiah hummed coldly as he waved his arm. "She's fortunate even to be alive."
A deputy sect master had committed such a shameless act. It was an embarrassment to the whole sect.
Diego and Sienna had thoroughly deluded Jedidiah. He was convinced that Khloris and Darryl were hiding a secret.
What?
Olive was confused. She had just arrived and had no idea what was going on.
Jedidiah uttered coldly, "Your master is no longer the Deputy Sect Master, and the man you brought back, Dart, murdered my elites! You're entirely to blame for that!"
Jedidiah's eyes sparkled with bloodlust as he drew his sword and pointed it at Olive. "Spit it out. How would you like to die?!"
What?
Olive sensed Jedidiah's murderous urge and shook in fear. Her head buzzed with nothing but white noise.
Dart killed those disciples? Why did he do that?
If what Sect Master said was true, she should die as a punishment.
