Hmm?
When Olive did not move, Jedidiah ran out of patience and said coldly, "Why are you still here?"
Olive took a deep breath and shook her head. "I am where Master is. I am not leaving."
Jedidiah's gaze flashed. His tone was teasing when he said, "You don't want to live anymore?"
Olive opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by Khloris.
"Olive Mo."
Khloris was anxious and angry when she shouted at Olive, "From now on, I officially expel you from the sect. You and I are no longer master and disciple, so my affairs have nothing to do with you, so descend the mountain now."
Khloris' face paled with desperation. Olive Mo was Olive's full name.
It felt like a knife had sliced through her heart.
She did not want it to be like that, but there was no way out. Things had come to that point, and if Olive continued to stay in the Sword Sect, it must be ominous for her. It was better to get her off the mountain to save her life.
"Master—"
Olive's delicate body trembled, and she could barely stand. "You love me the most, don't drive me away—"
Olive did not know that Khloris was doing that for her own good.
Khloris's delicate face was filled with indifference as she shook her head. "Olive Mo, you brought someone of unknown origin and caused me to lose my position as Deputy Sect Master. Do you think I will still want you as a disciple? You drove me to this state, and you're going to stay by my side and continue to hurt me?"
Khloris turned around and stopped looking at her. "Go away and never let me see you again."
'Go away and never let me see you again.'
Olive was so sad that she felt like her body was drained of energy. She fell to the round and sat there as she cried incessantly.
'Master doesn't want me anymore. She doesn't want me here anymore.'
Those words kept echoing in Olive's mind.
Finally, Olive got tired of crying. She turned around and knelt on the ground, rushed to Khloris' side, and cried. "Master, I'm leaving now. Please, take care of yourself."
