Long live the Empress, indeed.
She had only struck him once, and that was enough to take down the b*stard!
"You are a wanderer of the world."
Yvette approached Sergio slowly as she spoke in an ice-cold tone. "But you're out here preying on the weak and abusing your power. Should I spare your life or kill you?"
Her voice was not loud, but it radiated with steely authority that left no room for questioning.
One could barely breathe in the aura that surrounded Yvette.
Sergio panicked. His arrogance and condescension disappeared as he gulped and begged Yvette with all his might. "My dear, I mean, Honorable Lady, I should not have disrespected you. Please spare me, and let me live."
Sergio was close to tears.
He thought that he would get a chance to have some fun with the beautiful lady. He never guessed that he would be facing someone so terrifying. He had dug his own grave, asking to be punished.
At the same time, he was shocked as well.
That lady's energy had been terrifying when it exploded. He had not been able to take one blow. It was unbelievable!
Yvette remained utterly expressionless. She paid him no mind.
"You dense b*stard!"
One of the royal guards could not hold it in any longer and shouted at Sergio angrily, "That's Her Majesty Yvette Lane, the New World Empress, you idiot."
"You disrespected royalty and wreaked chaos among civilians. You should not be allowed to live."
As the words rang through, the other royal guards spoke up as well.
"Your Highness, let's take out the b*astard. He's done no good for the world at all."
"Yes, it'll be good for the people."
The guards' shouts rang through the air endlessly, making Sergio tremble in fear. He felt his brain buzz blankly, unable to think straight.
That woman was the New World's Empress?
