Morticia barged into the hiding space and saw Darryl. She was stunned. She had never expected to bump into that man again.
Thud!
Out of shock, Morticia ran too fast and collided with Darryl. She exclaimed and almost fell out of the bronze bell. Fortunately, Darryl was agile, so he managed to grab her tightly by her waist.
Gasp!
At that moment, Darryl was holding a beautiful lady in his arms. He gasped for breath and exclaimed in silence.
'She's so soft and smells so good.'
At the same time, he could sense that Morticia was weak. He frowned.
'Is she injured?'
'This woman is too stubborn. I've told her that she won't be able to leave now, but she refused to listen.'
At that moment, Morticia shuddered, and she felt like her heart almost pounded out of her chest. At that same time, she also felt embarrassed.
'How dare that man hug me?'
Then, Morticia broke free from Darryl's arms and slapped him. She cried out, "How dare you! Don't think that I won't kill you just because you've helped me." As she spoke, she endured the pain caused by the Talisman Amulet.
'F*ck!' Darryl held his face, and he was speechless. "It was you who barged in here. I was afraid you'd fall off, so I hugged you. Why are you blaming me?"
"Who would know that you're hiding in the bronze bell?" Morticia said impolitely.
Darryl chuckled. "How would I miss out on such a good hiding place?"
Then, he sized Morticia up and said, "I bet you failed to escape. I've already told you it'd be difficult to escape, but you refused to listen. And now you're injured!"
"Keep quiet!" Morticia was furious and said, "Who are you to criticize my action?"
