Wiz Immortal smiled confidently, addressing Prince Auten soothingly. "Don't worry, Honorable Prince. You're destined to be the Emperor— Shakun will bow to you and follow your every command once he sees you.
"Also, I've been watching it very closely, and I know I'm right. Most of Shakun's anger is condensed at the top of its head. All you have to do is cast the Emperor Sky Spell and feed it into the top of its head to expel the anger, and you're done!"
The officials marveled in awe.
"How wise of Wiz Immortal! He was able to find Shakun's weak spot with such ease!"
"He definitely deserves to be the next Royal Master."
"Amazing, Honorable Immortal!"
The praises rang through the air as Wiz Immortal stroked his beard, pleased.
Prince Auten let out a sigh of relief and let his guard down. A smile spread across his face.
Shakun's loss of control was considered a great challenge to everyone else, but it would work in his favor. All he had to do was tame Shakun, and he would be set to become the Emperor. Prince Aurin would have no right to challenge him anymore then!
At the thought, Prince Auten cast a sideways glance at Prince Aurin, his gaze ablaze with competitiveness.
Prince Aurin remained calm, even when he sensed Prince Auten's gaze.
Darryl smiled, but he said nothing.
However, Princess Sheila could not hold in her anger. She tugged Prince Aurin's elbow and said, "How big of a deal is taming Shakun? I'm sure you can do it too, Brother Aurin! Don't you know the Emperor Sky Spell as well?"
"Be quiet, Sheila!"
Prince Aurin smiled forcefully and shook his head. "Shakun's impossibly strong. Even if my father were still alive, he might not be able to tame him, let alone me."
Prince Aurin could not tamp his curiosity and turned to ask Darryl, "Will what Wiz Immortal said work, Master?" Prince Aurin's expression was calm as he asked the question, but his chest pounded anxiously.
If Wiz Immortal were truthful and only the person destined to be the Emperor could tame Shakun, and Prince Auten succeeded, how would Aurin compete against him in a hundred days?
"Nothing is set in stone!"
