"Hang on!"
Just as Yarl was grinning to himself, First Scope had a thought. He shouted, "That doesn't seem like a good idea!"
"How is it not a good idea?" Second Scope asked impatiently.
At the same time, Third Scope and Fourth Scope turned to look at their older brother.
First Scope scratched his head. "If I heal him, I'll have to use my internal energy. How is that fair?"
That made sense!
The three brothers nodded as well, lost in thought at the remarks.
Just then, Yarl could not help but say, "It's pretty simple, if you think about it. All you have to do is heal me simultaneously, and that'd be fair. Right?"
Yarl's expression was utterly solemn, but his eyes shone with malice.
Those four brothers were powerful, but they were all impossibly stupid.
Yarl had given it some thought. He planned to dupe them into healing him so that his internal energy might be restored much faster. All he had to do was recuperate, and he would be able to turn things around and kill all four of them.
Whew!
The Scope boys' eyes brightened as the words resonated across the air.
First Scope nodded in agreement. "You're pretty smart, kid. How did I not think of that?"
Second Scope smiled as the words resonated through the air and exclaimed, "That is a good idea. We will all use the same amount of energy to heal him since we will be doing it together. This way, no one loses."
Third Scope and Fourth Scope nodded in agreement.
What the four brothers did not realize at the time was that Yarl had meant to manipulate them.
"That won't do!"
One of the Ice Fire Island disciples shouted in a worried tone. "We can't heal him because he is the enemy. Please reconsider this plan."
As the words reverberated through the air, the rest of the disciples joined in.
"Yes, please don't be rash!"
"You should just kill that man."
"Yes, just kill him!"
