Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4681

If that were true, Yarl would have committed a major crime.

Killing the head of his clan or attempting to seize a fiend soul would have resulted in a hundred deaths.

Crap!

Yarl's face paled as he panicked as he realized he had been exposed.

Jarian was trembling and struggling to stay upright.

Nonetheless, Yarl instantly calmed and pointed at Morticia, shouting, "Everyone, don't trust her! She has been severely poisoned, and it's affected her mind as well. It's all nonsense."

Yarl's face was desperate and sincere as he said that.

Whew!

The crowd grew hesitant. Yarl seemed to be making sense. After all, the poison in Morticia could disrupt her mind.

Morticia scoffed coldly at the circumstance. "Cut the nonsense, Yarl. You know what you did."

Morticia cast a glance around her. "Do I look like I've gone mad to you?"

Well…

Francis and the other elders did not say a word. They frowned, deep in thought.

A few seconds later, Francis took a deep breath. It seemed as if he had made a decision. He pointed at Yarl. "Take Yarl down!" As the Head Elder and Yarl's father, Francis was a thoughtful man.

It was clear that Yarl was lying.

Even though Yarl was his son, committing such a treacherous crime was unforgivable.

The Blanc clan members summoned their internal energies as the words resonated through the air before charging in the direction of Yarl. Francis was only the Head Elder, so they should follow Yarl's command.

However, that was an exception. Yarl was suspected of murdering Sir Cranos and could face harsh punishment.

"Father!"

Yarl was outraged and astonished when he saw more Blanc clan members rush forward. "I was telling the truth. You have to trust me," he yelled at Francis.

Yarl summoned his internal energy to block the attacks.
