Darryl sighed. He did not know whether he should laugh or cry at the situation.
Empress Heidi could not tolerate it any further and rebuked Princess Sheila.
"That's it! Sheila, Barely Immortal had already made it clear earlier. Stop fussing about it. Do you think it is an act of a princess to fuss because of such an imaginary issue?"
Empress Heidi waved her hand to show her impatience. "I have more urgent matters to discuss with Barely Immortal. You may leave now."
To be honest, Empress Heidi had already suspected it. She later thought that Princess Sheila had made up the story because she was bored after Cloud Spirit reported that no one had entered Jadeite Fairyland without permission.
"I…"
Princess Sheila felt wronged that her Mother Empress did not believe her. She wanted to explain but decided not to when she saw the undoubting expression on Empress Heidi's face. After stomping her feet, she ran out of the bed chamber.
When she ran out, she swore in her heart while biting her lip. 'Finch! I will find you!'
Looking back into the bed chamber, Empress Heidi smiled and apologized to Darryl, "Sheila has always been quite the naughty one. There are many rules that she doesn't know. I'm sorry you had to experience it."
"You're too kind, Your Ladyship," Darryl quickly replied.
Finally, Empress Heidi exhaled to relieve her tension. Her exquisite face turned solemn as she spoke slowly.
"I requested you to come over because I hope you could advise me with an issue."
'Are we finally getting to the main point now?'
