Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4712

Empress Heidi frowned and cursed in her heart. 'A few months? Does it really require such a long time to learn?'

At that point, Empress Heidi still did not know that Barely Immortal was actually Darryl in disguise and that he did not know anything about the Immortal Spell.

Suddenly, Cloud Spirit sneered while looking at Darryl.

"Heh. Are you trying to make Her Ladyship give up?"

Since she was a confidant of Empress Heidi, she disregarded Darryl the entire time and spoke weirdly.

Darryl frowned while feeling unhappy. 'Damn it. Is there something with her brain? We've never crossed paths, yet you keep making things worse and looking for trouble.'

However, Darryl planned to ignore her as he looked at Empress Heidi quietly while waiting for her response.

Empress Heidi finally reacted and said, "If that's the case, I hope you could spend the time to teach me the Immortal Spell. I would be grateful when I can master it."

Truthfully, she did not have the luxury of a few months to learn it, but she had no other choice.

Darryl felt like crying his heart out when he heard her response. 'I… I thought Empress Heidi would give up once I said it would take a few months to master it. Who knew she'd be so determined to learn it? What should I do? I don't know anything about the Immortal Spell at all. How am I going to teach her?'

Empress Heidi saw the troubled look on Darryl's face and asked, "Is there anything wrong?"

Cloud Spirit spoke as soon as Empress Heidi finished her sentence. "Why are you so reluctant? Are you really going to make Her Ladyship beg you?"

In Cloud Spirit's point of view, Barely Immortal was just playing hard to get. However, she could not tolerate it.

'Idiot,' Darryl scolded her in his heart and did not intend to reply.
