At the words, Cloud Spirit scrambled to stand and retreat to the side.
Cloud Spirit's demeanor was like that of a tamed cat, but her chest burned with hatred toward Darryl. She wanted nothing more than to skin him alive.
The old geezer took advantage of her, but he pretended to be the good guy after.
"Honorable Savior!"
The White Tiger King stood from his throne with a smile.
"I've asked my men to prepare a feast. Please join us for a meal and some drinks to repay what you've done for my son. I am deeply in your debt."
Darryl must have his reasons for pretending to be an Immortal. He'd have to ask him later about it.
"Alright!"
Darryl nodded as he stood up to go to the courtyard behind the palace with the White Tiger King.
Cloud Spirit scrambled to follow suit.
They had barely gotten a few steps before Darryl stopped to turn to address her.
"We're going to have some fun, the White Tiger King and I. There's no need for you to come along. You can just stay here."
He had important affairs to discuss with the White Tiger King. How could he let her overhear the,?
Cloud Spirit's face flushed red with displeasure, but she managed to grit out a response.
"Yes, Master."
'Haha! Cloud Spirit Fairy, what had all that arrogance and ego been for?'
At the sight of her indignant expression, Darryl's chest flooded with satisfaction as he turned to leave with the White Tiger King.
Behind the palace was the courtyard where the White Tiger King rested. The rooms were all made of stone, making it a breathtaking sight. Despite not being as luxurious as Empress Heidi's quarters, they radiated their own beauty.
Once they had entered the great hall, the White Tiger King barked out a few orders. Within a matter of minutes, a feast was laid out before them.
The White Tiger King turned to address his subordinates. "Alright, you're all dismissed."
"Alright."
