"Put the fire out now!" Darryl had lost all patience. He strode forward and yelled at Princess Sheila. "Stop fooling around. Do you know it might cause a catastrophe?"
He was on his way to extinguish the fire. However, Princess Sheila intervened and stopped him. She stepped in front of the cauldron and shoved Darryl aside. "You are such an annoying old man! My brother owns the elixir production room, so it also belongs to me. I can do whatever I want, and you have no voice in the matter."
She pushed Darryl a few meters backward. He was utterly speechless. At the same time, something fell off by accident and produced a loud noise. The object was gold and had carved letterings on it. It was the Gold Emperor Token he had obtained previously from the Black Swamp.
Princess Sheila and Jadie Spirit focused on the gold token.
"What is that?" Princess Sheila reacted and rushed forward to pick it up two seconds later.
'Damn it!' Darryl was terrified. It was an essential item, and it would be disastrous if Princess Sheila discovered it and notified others. "That is my personal item, and I can't disclose it to you," Darryl immediately said after picking up the token.
After that, Darryl quickly put the gold token away.
"You—" His move enraged Princess Sheila, who pouted. "You are so stingy. What makes this gold token different from any other?" She kicked at the cauldron angrily.
The cauldron was full of random materials, creating a buzzing sound before it exploded. When it burst, there was a gust of a strong cold wind. The temperature in the room plummeted dramatically, almost instantly. Darryl and Jadie were stunned, but they automatically used their divine powers to construct a protective barrier. Princess Sheila, on the other hand, was not so fortunate. She was closest to the cauldron, so it rapidly engulfed her when the cold wind blew. Her body was frozen into an ice sculpture in less than two seconds, and she could not move.
"Princess!" When Jadie realized what had happened to Princess Sheila, she shouted. She dashed to her aid. However, Darryl stopped her.
"Just let her be." Darryl shook her head and looked at Princess Sheila, who had turned into an ice sculpture. "She had been very naughty. It's time to let her have a taste of her own medicine. Let's continue with our process."
"But—" Jadie hesitated for a while, but in the end, she nodded in agreement. "Alright."
'Barely Immortal is right. Princess Sheila has been too absurd.'
Darryl looked around the room and smiled coldly. "The room is filled with the strong frigid wind due to the princess' chaos. I don't think we will be able to make the Cultivar Pill today. Put the fire out. Let's try again tomorrow once the cold wind has died down."
The process of producing an elixir was extremely tedious. There was no room for error. Initially, the Cultivar Pill was almost done, but after the interruption from Princess Sheila, the process had to be stopped.
Despite her opposition, Jadie accepted and followed Darryl's instructions.
"It's quite late now. I will send Princess Sheila back. You should get some rest too," Darryl said. He carried the frozen princess and left the room.
Jadie sighed unwillingly after Darryl had left. She mumbled to herself, "It was almost done before we had to stop it. Forget it. I will just do it myself since I remember all the details and steps."
Jadie immediately gathered all the materials and lit the fire for the cauldron. She thought that Darryl was being too cautious. The Extreme Yin physical state had been troubling her for many years. Since there was a solution, she would not wait any further. After a while, the fire started to burn vigorously. She began to have high expectations.
