Until that point, Jadie Spirit had no idea that making an elixir in a room full of cold wind was exceedingly dangerous. The cold breeze influenced the flame and turned it from flaming red to ice blue just as the anticipation was building.
'What's going on?' Jadie freaked out when the color of the fire changed. It was not until then that she understood she had made a mistake. She tried to extinguish the flames, but it was too late.
After being hit by the cold wind, the flaming red cauldron exploded before Jadie could get near it. There was a dull rumble. Jadie was thrown a dozen steps backward by the tremendous airflow before collapsing. The ice blue flame turned turquoise before she could even stand up. As the fire from the exploding cauldron splattered all over the place, it eventually reached Jadie.
Her body trembled as she felt the turquoise flame's blistering heat. Her cheeks flushed scarlet as she felt the scorching anguish spread across her body. 'I'm finished!' Jadie was filled with regret. She would listen to Barely Immortal if she knew that would happen.
…
Meanwhile, Darryl carried the frozen Princess Sheila back to her room and placed her on the bed. Cracks started to appear on the outer layer around Princess Sheila's body. At the same time, she regained her consciousness. She shouted weakly and anxiously, "Hey, White Beard Old Man, hurry up and let me out."
'To think that a dignified princess is frozen into an ice sculpture. It's too annoying.'
Darryl smiled as he looked at Princess Sheila. "Princess, you should learn from your mistakes. In the future, you should avoid rushing into dangerous forbidden areas like the elixir production room. As for the ice on your body, it will dissolve naturally in a few hours. You don't have to worry. It's inappropriate for a man to stay in your room without other people present. I'd better go."
After that, Darryl left immediately. 'That unruly princess had been relying on her status to do things without thinking about the consequences. It's about time for her to suffer a little, so she will consider the consequences before doing it the next time.'
"Hey!" Princess Sheila was furious when Darryl just left without helping her. "Old man, come back!" However, Darryl ignored her and disappeared into the night in the blink of an eye.
"That old man!" Princess Sheila was anxious and angry. "You better don't let me get the opportunity for payback."
As she muttered to herself, she tried to use her divine power to dissolve the ice on her body.
Darryl felt relieved after leaving Princess Sheila's room. 'Pfft, that was a close call. Luckily, I quickly picked up the Heaven And Earth Token when it fell out. There would be big trouble if Princess Sheila saw it.'
Before passing the elixir production room, Darryl suddenly stopped and frowned. 'Huh? What happened?' He sensed an extremely strong force raging in the elixir production room. He could see a turquoise flame burning inside the room from a distance. It was an extraordinary situation.
'Oh, no!' Darryl finally understood it. The flame must have appeared because Jadie did not listen to him and had tried to produce the elixir by herself. 'How ridiculous! The cold wind resulting from Princess Sheila's misbehavior had not dispersed yet. Why would she try to produce the elixir at that time?' He dashed toward the elixir production room.
When he was about to reach the room, he could hear pained moans. It was Jadie. Darryl listened to the sound as if it had some fatal temptation effect. He felt the bones in his body chilled and softened.
"Damn, something must have happened.' Darryl did not hesitate and quickly rushed into the room. The moment he entered the room, he took a deep breath and was stunned when he saw the scene.
The entire elixir production room was burning with turquoise flames, and in the corner, Jadie was curled up in a ball, sweating profusely.. Her delicate body shivered non-stop. Her delicate face was flushed; she was in pain.
A few seconds later, Darryl realized that he was dumbfounded. Jadie must have ignored his instruction and proceeded with the process. That must have caused the accident to happen. She must have been very desperate to solve her Extreme Yin physical state.
