Wendy had merely been a regular staff member of the Lambert Corporation. Antigonus found her by accident upon taking over Hackett's body. He discovered that Wendy was more than just a competent worker who knew what she was doing. Upon so, he made her his right-hand-man—Hackett's secretary.
Wendy was supposed to be in the company sorting out business affairs when she had heard that the owner of a known film company was coming over to visit. Upon knowing so, she rushed downstairs to welcome him.
'Whoa… What a dashing man.'
Before she could even reach him close up, Wendy had been dazed by Zhu's looks.
Truthfully, Wendy had also made it a point to put herself in charge of running the bigger projects as Antigonus' secretary. When the company began hiring new male workers, Wendy had also had her fair share of a good view.
However, the man that stood before her was pretty much perfect, to the point where it was impossible to find any flaw in him.
However, why was his gaze so mocking?
At the thought, Wendy reached Zhu and bowed politely as she greeted him. "Hello there! I'm Sir Lambert's secretary, Wendy Jensen. You are…"
Before she could finish, Zhu cut her off with a light smile. "You can call me Mister Zhu. I'm the founder of South Creek Entertainment. Oh my, I didn't know the Lambert Corporation had more than pretty receptionists. Even the secretary is a breathtaking beauty."
As he spoke, Zhu could not help but stand as he got closer to admire Wendy, grinning cheekily as he said, "Have you thought of switching companies, hot stuff? Come be my secretary instead."
That was the kind of person Zhu was—oblivious to reality in the face of beautiful women.
Uhh…
At his response, Wendy's face flushed scarlet as her expression colored with uncertainty.
'Is he really the founder of South Creek Entertainment? Why does he speak with such a lack of decorum? Also, what kind of higher-up asks about switching companies at the first meeting?'
Wendy still flashed a polite smile as she said, "You sure are funny, Mister Zhu. My boss is really good to me. I haven't had any thoughts of switching companies yet."
As she spoke, Wendy asked politely, "What are you doing here today, Mister Zhu?"
Uhh…
