Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4975

As he spoke, Zhu walked over and prepared to take a look.

Wendy got the fright of her life as she scrambled to stand and stop him. "Mister Zhu! Please don't go in there. Sir Lambert has an awful temper, and he hates people entering his office without permission."

Based on Wendy's memory, Sir Lambert was a pretty gentle guy if unprovoked, but he had a terrifying side to him if he were to get angry. She clearly remembered how a security guard had forgotten to knock before entering, and as a result, he not only got an earful but was also fired immediately.

'Who does this Mister Zhu think he is anyway? Doing whatever he wants.'

Zhu's interest only piqued even further, having heard her answer. He replied, "Sir Lambert never lets anyone into his office? Is he hiding some hot chicks in there? If that's the case, I've got to check it out myself. Haha!"

As the words rang through the air, Zhu moved to push the door open to enter.

"Hey… Mister Zhu!"

Wendy was beside herself with panic, hot on Zhu's heels as she begged in a low voice, "Please leave, Mister Zhu. Sir Lambert will have my head if he finds out I've let you in while he was gone."

As she spoke, Wendy was all but helpless. 'How could Mister Zhu do this? Breaking into someone else's office as he pleases?'

Zhu's expression was nothing but righteous. "Oh, it's fine. I'm here to talk business, a huge collaboration! Do you think he would flip out on me in the face of money? Also…"

As he spoke, Zhu took in the gigantic office before him, saying in a dull tone, "Look, I'm not touching anything."

Zhu was frustrated. He had thought that there would be some beauties in there, only for there to be nothing at all.

Wendy nodded, moving to usher Zhu out.

"Mmph…"

Suddenly, a series of low hums could be heard inside the office. The voice was laced with pain and sounded extremely faint, but it had been audible enough for Zhu and Wendy to hear it.

'F*ck me.'
