"Yes, he sure deserves the title of head of the Elixir Sect."
Cormac could not help but strut his stuff as well, as everyone was shouting nothing but admiration for Darryl. He grinned and said, "Save it, all of you! Brother Darryl's only at the Pure Yang Division because of me. Do you really think he'd be subpar?"
The crowd nodded in agreement.
Darryl flashed a smile as he stared at Gromo silently. "You're going to have to change that attitude, Elder Gromo. Don't be stubborn about things you don't know, or you'll end up paying for it."
"Yes, yes…" Gromo nodded hastily.
Gromo did not dare say anything else to Darryl after experiencing the opposite effects of the Golden Pill.
"That's enough!"
Suci smiled from where she sat on her throne as she looked at Darryl. "It was pretty eye-opening to have the head of the Elixir sect help Gromo out in such a time of danger. It's also gotten pretty late. Let's all get some rest."
As she spoke, Suci smiled at Darryl. "Since you just got to the Pure Yang Division, Cormac can show you around later. You can get to know the place a little better."
Suci was starting to like Darryl more and more.
She could only avoid eating the Golden Pill because Darryl intervened in time. Otherwise, she would have suffered the same fate as Gromo. She was the Pure Yang Division's Palace Master. Rolling on the ground in a pool of sweat while experiencing hot and cold flashes would have been an embarrassing sight.
"Yes, Palace Master!"
Cormac smiled as he called out in response before walking out of the hall with Darryl in tow.
The Pure Yang Division's view was impressive.
