Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5036

Darryl merely smirked as Ronny begged him. "Weren't you going to beat me to death? Why the sudden change in attitude? Also, you said I was not a good match for your cousin, so I don't know why you're suddenly referring to me as family."

Darryl walked carefully over to sit in the middle of the room as he spoke.

Ronny was close to tears. He lay on the floor, begging endlessly. "I was blinded for a moment, Cousin-in-law. You're the bigger man, right? Please don't stoop to my level."

Darryl poured himself a cup of tea, sipping leisurely as if he had heard nothing.

Ronny panicked. Just as he was about to keep begging, a Pure Yang Division disciple harshly stomped on his bottom, shouting, "Are you deaf? Didn't you hear what the Sect Master said? Don't refer to him as family."

"That is our sect master. Who are you to call him your cousin-in-law? Do you have a death wish?"

Splat!

The kick sent Ronny sprawling onto the ground, chipping one of his teeth. He looked sorry. It was an amusing sight. His chest pounded with nothing but fear as he promptly shut up, not daring to say anything further.

The Pure Yang Division disciples harrumphed as they saluted Darryl after observing him become more sincere. "Sect Master, what should we do with him?"

Darryl gave it some thought and asked in an amused tone, "Well, what are we supposed to do if we were to follow Pure Yang Division rules?"

"Sect Master!"

The Pure Yang Division disciple replied loudly, "He may be a disciple of the Heavenly Dragon Sect, but the Heavenly Dragon Sect and the Pure Yang Division are allies. Infractions can be punished in accordance with Pure Yang Division regulations."

"Insolence, disrespecting the Sect Master. He ought to be stripped of his powers."

'Alright!'

Darryl nodded before waving a hand. "You can do that, then." Ronny had relied on his status to bully other people. Taking away his powers would be good for keeping him from doing more evil in the future.
