'What?' Immediately, everyone there was shocked.
Being the first to collect his thoughts, he looked at Darryl with a cold gaze. "What do you mean? Are you saying that there's another reason that caused my wife to become like this?"
Immediately, everyone turned to Darryl, waiting for his answer.
Darryl smiled and said to Zacho softly, "That's right. Your wife went berserk, not because she experienced a psychotic break but because she was poisoned."
Then, Darryl stood with a half-smile and quietly observed everyone's reaction.
Darryl was not talking nonsense. After observing closely, Valerie was indeed poisoned. Plus, that poison would cause one to be confused, and hence she became insane.
Moreover, Darryl had guessed the person who poisoned Valerie. The North Sea Galaxy most probably did it, and that person was most probably present there. The main altar of the North Sea Galaxy was heavily guarded, and the probability of an outsider sneaking in to poison the Sect Mistress was relatively low. Therefore, the most suspicious ones were the internal members of the sect, especially the elders present there. Each of them had extraordinary identities, and they often met with the Sect Mistress. They had the best opportunities to poison her.
'Huh?'
'Poisoned by someone?'
Instantly, the entire bedchamber had fallen into pin-drop silence. Zacho stood there and stared blankly at Darryl. He felt a buzz in his head, and his mind turned blank.
Feeling utterly shocked, the few elders stared at each other.
"Mistress went berserk because she was poisoned? How… How could that be possible?"
"Who dares to poison the Mistress?"
"I bet this dude here is talking nonsense because he doesn't want to produce elixirs, right?"
