'Why is Heather so strong? I've already executed my ultimate technique, and yet, it did no harm to her,' Veron thought to herself.
Amid her rage, her blood suddenly rushed to her heart, and she vomited a mouthful of blood. Her body trembled slightly.
'She took Ambrose from me, and I failed to defeat her. God, why are you so unfair?'
When Heather saw that Veron vomited blood, she screamed in shock and looked very worried.
"You…you… Are you alright?" Heather asked worriedly.
Heather was a kind-hearted girl. She knew Veron was mean to her because of Ambrose. After all, they did not have any grudges against each other. Moreover, they agreed that the fight would end without causing any casualties.
Under such a situation, Heather felt bad when she saw Veron injured because of her attack.
'She's just crying crocodile tears.'
Veron sighed and was disdainful of Heather's concern.
Since Veron did not respond, Heather thought Veron suffered from severe injury. She slowly walked closer to Veron and said apologetically, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it."
Heather had always had a kind soul. She cried for a few days when her pet passed away. She really felt awful to see Veron get injured because of her.
Veron frowned as she finally noticed that Heather did not look like she was pretending. Despite that, Veron did not appreciate it and thought of a very evil plan.
'Not only is she pretty and strong, but she's also very naive. No wonder Ambrose admires her so much. No! Ambrose is mine. I can't let other women steal him away.'
With that thought in her mind, Veron pretended she was hurt badly and fell to the ground. Her face looked pale and weak when she fell down, but her eyes secretly observed Heather's reaction. Indeed, Veron planned to use Heather's kindness to ambush her.
'Oh no!'
Heather's body trembled, and she was distraught. Although Veron fussed around, it was because she really liked Ambrose a lot.
However, Ambrose only treated Veron as his sister. Heather was worried about how she would explain it to Ambrose if anything bad were to happen to Veron.
