Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5261

"Alright!" When Preston was out of sight, Darryl looked around and pointed at the grass beside them. "Let's just rest here for a while."

Lindsey obediently followed. The sky was gradually brightening. The sun shone through the thick fog in the woods, turning everything a pale golden color.

"So beautiful…" Lindsey complimented the beautiful sunrise moment as she sat on the grass. She had an epiphany and asked, "Brother Darryl, is the Pure Yang Division beautiful?"

Darryl smiled as he nodded and replied, "The Pure Yang Division is situated in the heart of the mountain. The scenery is like a painting and heaven on earth. I'm sure you will like it. Oh, yes! There's another girl in the Elixir Sector. She is a few years older than you."

Lindsey gently exhaled, her delicate and exquisite face longing for the moment they arrived at the Pure Yang Division. A few beautiful women were flying in the woods not far from them in the middle of their conversation.

The six women had sexy figures. When their gown swayed, it gave the impression that the goddesses had descended from heaven. They had exquisite facial features that enchanted many men. However, an evil spirit lingered around them that did not correspond to their appearance. They were known as the Hexa Swordmaidens.

Darryl's light and pleasant mood dimmed when he saw them. 'Why do I keep running into them wherever I go? But I have to give it to them. Somehow they manage to escape the underground city since there are traps and mechanisms everywhere.'

However, lady luck was on their side. They ended up in the courtyard in the northwest after spending more than two hours investigating the underground city. They used their keen observation and followed Darryl's footsteps into the courtyard to cross the Virtual Maze Formation. They successfully escaped after passing through the stone door. It would be correct to say that Darryl was the one who indirectly helped them to escape.

Lindsey realized something was wrong when she felt the evil spirit of the Hexa Swordmaidens, so she quickly stood up.

"Darryl?" By then, the Hexa Swordmaidens had discovered Darryl and Lindsey too. They looked at each other and quickly surrounded Darryl and Lindsey.

Alora, the eldest sister, looked at Darryl with eagle-sharp eyes. She was overcome by rage. "Darryl! Even God is on our side for allowing us to find you so quickly!"

Lumi bit her lips and said fiercely, "Darryl! There's nowhere for you to escape that time. I must kill you!"

A few hours ago, when Lumi went into the stone ruin, she had started to hallucinate that she was seeing Alora. Then Darryl helped her to clear her meridians. Once that was done, he brought her out from the stone ruin. Since he was afraid that Lumi would pester him once she woke up, he knocked her out with a single blow. That was when Alora and the other sisters reached their location.

Darryl did not want to waste time with them, so he fled. Unaware of that action, Alora and her sisters misinterpreted him, believing Darryl was guilty of defiling Lumi and needed to flee the scene.

After Lumi woke up, Alora told her what had happened, and she was ashamed and angry. Only then did she realize the person she had imagined was in the stone ruin was not her eldest sister. She had mistaken Darryl for her eldest sister.

As a Hexa Swordmaiden, she was aware of her physical state. Darryl had not defiled her, but she was still angry at him for impersonating her eldest sister and assisting her in clearing her meridians.

She cultivated a very special cultivation method. Clearing her meridians would require skin contact. Darryl had abused her even if he did not defile her. As a result, once Lumi calmed down, she vowed to kill Darryl at any cost.

She later told Alora and her sisters what happened to her after she got separated from them in the underground city. They began to venture out in search of an escape route. They finally made it out a few hours later.

The main reason they left was that they met people from other sects. The elites of those sects informed them that Darryl had fled with a girl from the Heavenly Secret Palace, taking with him the treasure, the Spirit of the Heavenly Secret. After a discussion, the Hexa Swordmaiden decided to leave the underground city.
