Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5431

Yet Rachelle acted as if she had not heard anything, soaring ahead without an ounce of rage or humiliation.

Huh?

Darryl was even more confused then. This wasn't right— had he teased her like this back just a little while ago, Rachelle would have been furious and turned back to fight him immediately.

And yet this woman had no reaction now, unusually calm.

What Darryl did not know then was that Rachelle was under someone else's control, and was nothing but a puppet then.

At the thought, Darryl sped up as he began to close the distance between him and Rachelle.

Seeing as he was about to catch up, he saw Rachelle jerk harshly before ducking into a hall. There were many of these in the Godly Secret Realm, and most of them were empty.

Thus Darryl did not think much of this, and rushed forward as well.

What…

Upon entering the hall, Darryl stopped in his footsteps immediately as he looked around.

All that could be seen in the room were a large number of black, square rocks in a seemingly haphazard pile. Yet all it took was a closer look for one to immediately recognize that something was off.

The Five Delusions Formation?

A few seconds later, a smile appeared on Darryl's face. He was second to none when it came to formations and spells, and could tell immediately that the rocks were forming such a formation.

The Five Delusions Formation was a mid-range formation. To others, it was ever-changing and impossible. Yet to Darryl, getting out of it was merely a piece of cake.

Upon letting out a light chuckle, Darryl did not hesitate before rushing to the formation and staring straight at Rachelle. "Tell me where you've trapped the Palace Master now."

Had it been any other time, Darryl would have said a few more things to provoke Rachelle. Yet now he was only concerned for the Palace Master's safety, and could not be bothered to make such jokes.

"Answer me first."

Rachelle's expression was cold as ice at the question as she responded coldly. She ducked, piercing her sword in Darryl's direction at once.

The blow was one that Rachelle cast with full force, constricting the air as it moved.
