Within barely two rounds, Debra was struggling to hold up. Just like Chester and Dax, her powers had not fully restored yet, and she could not hold her own against the attacks of so many soldiers.
Rachelle was beside herself with panic at the sight, and could not help but call out to Debra, "Didn't I tell you to go? Why have you returned?" As she spoke, she continued to fight off more Godly Region soldiers.
Debra replied, "The Hidden Hero Sect has always stood by the way of justice. You just save Dax's life, and there's no way I can stand and watch this happen as the Hidden Hero Sect Master."
As she spoke, a soldier took advantage of Debra being distracted to rush over from behind. He wielded his long sword quick as lightning, piercing it in the direction of Debra's chest.
The force of the stab was extremely powerful, ripppng through the atmosphere.
Debra was firmly blocked by the soldiers, and could not dodge the blow at all. Her beautiful face clouded with hopelessness as she sensed the danger coming from behind her.
These soldiers were far too powerful. Was this really how she was going to die?
"Careful there!"
Rachelle cried out at the sight, and did not think twice before she channeled her powers to the very maximum to rush to Debra and send the blow elsewhere.
Debra spent a good few seconds in shock, before returning to her senses to thank Rachelle profusely. "Thank you, thank you so much…"
Sigh!
Rachelle let out an exasperated breath, saying in a helpless tone. "You really aren't helping me by coming back, and just putting yourself in more danger."
As she spoke, all the Godly Region soldiers had crowded forward.
Rachelle's chest sank at the sight of the powerful opponents. So what if they had magical powers? There was no way they were going to win all these soldiers.
Debra's expression was nothing but nervous as well— but she was not in the slightest bit remorseful.
Chester and the rest had now escaped successfully and were out of danger. She would be happy to die knowing this— it would all be worth it.
"Out of the way…"
Just then, Rachelle cried out loud as she gripped her long sword, beginning to fight against the soldiers once against.
