Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 5675

Still, Veron was considered quite a beauty.

At that thought, Darryl said with a smile, "What are you here to see me for, little miss?"

Veron let out a sigh , holding back her displeasure as she spoke slowly.

"I came here on behalf of my family for two things. One is to apologize, and two is to ask you, Uncle Darryl, for help."

Darryl was classmates with Circe back at the Hexad school, and based on age, it was only right that Darryl was considered a senior to Veron.

Darryl stopped short at Veron's words. He had guessed that Veron had come to visit regarding the affairs of her family and the Wudang Sect, but he did not anticipate an apology.

"What are you apologizing for?" Darryl asked curiously.

Veron bit her lip softly, not answering right away. Instead she walked up to Ambrose and spoke slowly.

"I was to blame for my actions before, Ambrose Darby. Please be the bigger person and forgive me for my wrongdoing."

Veron's affection toward Ambrose had morphed into resentment, and she refused to call him 'Brother Ambrose', referring to him by his full name instead.

To tell the truth, Veron did not wish to apologize to Ambrose at all.

However, she had no choice. Tuji and her aunt had both said that they were going to need the Elysium Gate's support, and she had no choice but to show some sincerity.

Ho ho!

Ambrose chuckled at the reluctant look on her face, saying lightly, "You're the great high lady of the Lange family! You'd never be wrong, would you? I don't deserve your apology, oh no."

As he spoke, Ambrose's head was raised up as he refused to look Veron in the eye.

To tell the truth, Ambrose was far from a petty person, but Veron had gone too far with her ways. She accused Ambrose of being the father of the baby with no solid proof, causing Heather to leave, and she ended up being held captive by the Sea Dragon Palace.

Ambrose had also fallen into the Sea Dragon Palace's trap in his search for Heather, and he even got Chester and Dax injured…

All of that had been caused by none other than Veron, and there she was, thinking that an apology would absolve her.

All at once, Ambrose flared up in anger.

Veron's temper grew in an instant at the sight of Ambrose's attitude as she stomped her feet.
