Seeing as she had lost the arrogance from before, Darryl strode over slowly before he recalled the divine energy he had put into her acupoint.
Following that, Darryl stared at Veron. "Alright. If you're really bored you can take a stroll in the Begonia Residences. But if I ever hear about you acting out of line, I'm not going to be as forgiving anymore."
As the final word rang through the air, Darryl strode off in big steps.
……
Just then, over at the pill room.
Rachelle did not know how long she had been unconscious for. She felt as if she had just had a dream that she had fallen down a volcano, and the searing hot lava had drowned her…
Whew!
At last, Rachelle woke up with a start from her nightmare.
Yet as she opened her eyes, Rachelle took in the sight of herself and got the fright of her life.
All that could be seen was that her breathtaking curves were nowhere to be seen, and instead her body bore the resemblance of a three-year-old's. Her features were small and bright, her cheeks slightly chubby and adorable.
What…
Upon freezing for almost twenty seconds, Rachelle returned to her senses as panic flooded her senses.
What was going on? Why had she become a child?
Could it be… because she had taken that pill?
Rachelle was close to tears at the thought. She should have never taken the pill if she had known this was the case.
"Rachelle!"
Just as Rachelle was panicking over what to do, Darryl's voice could be heard from outside the door. "Are you there?"
Darryl had rushed over after teaching Veron a lesson, ready to persuade Rachelle to stay.
Crap!
Rachelle panicked at Darryl's voice. She had turned into a three-year-old child, and did not fit into her long dress anymore— all that she had to cover herself was her undershirt. It would be humiliating to be seen by Darryl like this.
At the thought, Rachelle snatched up the dress that had fallen off her before scrambling to hide behind the rack of herbs.
Just as she had finished hiding, Darryl walked in.
